“Filipinos are unique in a way that they always share their income with loved ones back home – immaterial whether they work in the country or overseas. The special price offer is to reward their generosity, so they may maximize their income and expenditure on pay day,” said Patricia Riingen, senior vice president, East and South Asia, Western Union.
“A price slash on pay-days is only a small token of appreciation from Western Union when compared to the overwhelming dedication and generosity of Filipinos whose priority is always the well-being of their families and loved ones, wherever they may be,” added Riingen.
